It's that time of year again!
Well it's that time of the year again and it's getting very busy and exciting! Hat hire for the Cheltenham festival has been my busiest year yet so I am glad I expanded my Autumn/Winter collection. Ladies are definitely getting bolder with their choices when it comes to what hat they wear for the festival. I have also been busy with winter weddings especially around the Christmas period. I took my first booking for Royal Ascot in January and now they are coming in regularly but nothing compared to the month of May ! I had a big cull of my collection last year and replaced them with new pieces from my usual milliners including Juliette Botterill, Gina Foster, Carol Kennelly, Dawn Guibert, Jennifer Wrynne and I have also added to my current Philip Treacy collection. I have added some new milliners to my collection , including Australian milliner Amanda Dudley, and Irish milliner Aisling Ahern. This seasons hat trends, I have noticed some amazing bright colours such as acid tones of yellow and bright greens as well as some Spanish influence such as the cordobes style. Of the more casual styles Fedoras and cloche hats continue to be popular. Well it's off to the Cheltenham Festival then on to the Dubai World Cup, which is huge when it comes to style as there are huge prizes on offer for the best dressed ladies. I also hire hats for this event.
I have decided this year during Royal Ascot not to take bookings via email or online. If you would like to hire a hat you must come to see my showroom in person to make a booking please. If you live overseas I will make exceptions. The reason for this is that the sheer volume of emails takes up too much time and I don't have enough time to spend with clients.
