Booking an appointment
To book an appointment please whatsaspp me within office hours 9am-6pm monday to saturday on 07977 935978 or contact me via the contact page
I will get back to you with a day and time to suit
I`m not open everyday so your must book an appointment to view the hats
Hats cannot be booked or matched virtually (whatsapp/email) during the busy months of April, May and June you must visit the shop first. If postage is needed thereafter and you live a fair distance away then this is possible otherwise it is collection only
First time hirers must visit the shop first to book your hat
During the busy months of April, May and June I am open on certain days listed below, outside of these months, I am available for appointments as normal on request
Appointment information
I allow 45 minutes for each appointment, although some apointments can run over - this cant be helped
Please advise if you are bringing anyone with you to your appointment as the shop is very small (bringing children is not recommended)
Bring your outfit with you (including accessories) or a swatch so that we can match your hat perfectly

Help and Advice
Hats cannot be held or reserved
During the busy months of April,May and June, advice and matching is not available virtually - you must book an appointment to come to the shop where I`m happy to help in person
Outside of these months, if you are unable to come for an appointment in person - I ask you to look at my collection on my website first where you can search by colour and style, there are simply too many hats for me to choose from without meeting you or seeing your outfit in person so by looking first - this narrows down the search and I get a good idea of your preferences.
Once you have sent over some suggestions that catch your eye via whatsapp or email - I can then advise on fit and style and of course I will give my honest and personal opinion, then we can proceed to the booking.
Hiring by post
A £50 deposit is required for hats hired virtually and posted. It will be refunded upon the safe return of the hat.
If you`ve hired from me before you can book your hat (except April, May and June) via whatsapp or email. you can then fill out the hire contract and I will confirm
Payment is by bank transfer or card over the phone
Once payment is received the booking is complete
You must be present when the postman tries to deliver - if he/she is unable to deliver because you are not present, it is your resposibilty to locate the hat (tracking numbers are available on request)
If the hat doesnt arrive on timebecause of a missed delivery - this is your responsibility. Sometimes postmen dont leave cards so its very important to be present at the time of delivery.
Hats are posted via Royal Mail Special Deliveryguaranteed by the next day before 1pm. They must be returned the same way- well secured/protected and insured to the value stated in the hire contract.
Hats are not insured by me and they are fully your responsibilty until they are returned safely
If you require postage to a hotel that you are staying at - you must pre-warn the hotel staff that the hat will be arriving so that they can take care of it and confirm receipt of the hat
Refunds and cancellation
Once your hat has been posted it is considered a hire, even if not worn and no refunds will be given
A refund can only be given no matter what the circumstance if notice of cancellation is received 7 days before the collection date
A consultation fee of £25 will be deducted from the refund amount
Hire duration and late charge
Hat hire is for 5 days or if hiring by post its 7 days
If hat hire is needed for longer this can be discussed
If hats are returned late without notice then a fee may be charged
Loss or damage and protection
Hats are not insured by me - they are fully your responsibilty until they are received safely back
If hats are returned damageincluding loss of decoration, rain damage or dents, after discussion the the hirer must pay for the hat to be fixed or where in cases where hats are beyond repair then then the full amount as on the hire contract must be paid
Hats should remain in their boxes unless being worn and should be protected at all timesespecially from rain.
Please dont put hat pins in the hats
Please do not ammend any fixture of the hat including the fastening
Make up marks are unfortunately part of the hiring process and cannot be helped - hats are cleaned before and after hiring
Hats are non-transferrable
Hats are strictly non-transferrable and are to be worn only by the hirer named on the contract for the single event/day that was specified at the time of booking
Hats must not be worn by friends or family for a second occaision unless discussed with me prior to doing so (i will offer a discounted fee)
Collection and return in person
Hats can be collected from the conservatory attached to the houseon the day agreed at the time of booking between the hours of 12-4pm or 6-8pm
Hats will be in named boxes
Please park in the car park coming in the top B4000 entrance (not bottom) and walk down being very careful of horses, dogs and children
Strictly no cars are allowed past the car park and strictly no dogs please
