About Me

Having been brought up in horseracing and married to the champion jockey, Richard Hughes, I have attended many race meetings over the years and as a result I had built up an impressive hat collection before I started this venture in April 2011.  after retiring as a jockey, Richard became a racehorse trainer and we have been building this business together since 2015. We enjoy the racing life together with our three children.

My father was also a racehorse trainerand together with my mother, they exposed me to the wonderful world of horse racing.  My mother is undoubtedly my inspiration  and I look to her for her style and advice.

I now have a collection of over 650 hats and headpieces designed by top milliners which are sourced by myself. They are all available to view on my website.  We have a wide range of colours and styles to choose from. Featuring beautiful and unique pieces suitable for any season or occasion. I can advise and help to match your outfit with the perfect hat.  My aim is to utilise this website as my brochure to the business.  All hats are available to view on here and you can search by colour, style and milliner. You can also see what is available to hire for Royal Ascot so that you can see what I have available before you come for your appointment. Hats get booked up quickly for Ascot so this is updated regularly.  For other occaisions things aren`t quite so busy and you can check availability and price with me directly.
