Con­di­tions of Hire

A deposit (equal to the hire of the hat) may be taken at the time of hire and cred­ited on the safe return of the hat/headpiece and hat box.

Cus­tomers will be required to sign an agree­ment stat­ing that they are fully respon­si­ble for the hat/headpiece once it has left the premises or received at the races.

The agree­ment states the value to replace the par­tic­u­lar item if it is lost, stolen or dam­aged (includ­ing any dents, loss of dec­o­ra­tion or water damage).

The value must be paid to Lizzie’s Hats by the cus­tomer should this happen.

I under­stand that the Eng­lish weather is inevitable, but care should be taken when wear­ing a hat/headpiece in the rain and should be kept under an umbrella at all times as all hats/headpieces are very vul­ner­a­ble if sub­jected to rain.

All hat boxes must be returned.
